F.A. REBATE PROGRAM FUNDING

1. Copy and distribute Flyers to each classroom for the backpack system two times during the year. Flyers will be provided in September and January to announce the Fall and Spring contests. Keep in touch with parents and box tops counters through FA Weekly announcements and e-mails.

2. Keep rebate flyers and pamphlets stocked by Mrs. Estes' Office. Decorate the bulletin board in the Lower School hallway. Re-register the school with Giant in mid-August prior to the new school year. Publicize the store affinity programs at back-to-school nights.

3. Mail laser/ink cartridges & cell phones to the Funding Factory. You may pre-order shipping boxes or use your own boxes with pre-printed labels. The website provides shipping instructions. The UPS store near Four Mile Fork will accept the boxes for shipping.

4. Coordinate the "Box Tops" pizza parties (fall) and ice cream sundae parties (spring) with the homeroom parents of the three winning lower school classrooms.

5. Coordinate the "Box Tops" lower school ice cream treat at the end of the year. Reimbursements for supplies are made by submitting your receipt to the PFA Treasurer. The PFA mailbox is in the middle school mailroom.

1. Seek permission from Mr. Franz to run a fall contest (6th grade vs. 7th grade vs. 8th grade) and a spring contest (girls vs. boys).

2. Complete tallys for the MS Box Tops Collection Containers in the entry of the Middle School (follow instructions 2-5 for Tally Parents below).

3. Make sure any posters announcing Box Tops Contests are updated as needed. Reimbursements for supplies are made by submitting your receipt to the PFA Treasurer. The PFA mailbox is in the middle school mailroom.

4. Coordinate the rewards (lunchtime treats plus denim/logo day) with Mr. Franz.

5. Coordinate the "Box Tops" middle school ice cream treat at the end of the year.

6. Assist the Rebates/Box Tops Committee Chair with all rebate programs.

1. Work with the Student Life Committee Chair and sponsor to publicize Fall and Spring box tops contests. These are usually done in conjunction with the traditional Spirit Week contests.

2. Complete tallys for the Box Tops Collection Box located in the entry of the Upper School in October and April (see instructions for tally volunteers below).

3. Keep rebate flyers and pamphlets stocked in the entryway to the Upper School.

4. As they are dropped off by parents, please bring printer cartridges to the Funding Factory shipping box in the middle school mailroom.

5. Assist the Rebates/Box Tops Committee Chair with all programs as needed.

1. Make sure your classroom has a Box Tops collection box as close to the first week of school as possible (contact me if it does not have one already).

2. You will receive periodic emails asking you to empty the collection box and count the box tops.

3. After each collection, trim all box tops along the dotted line so the logo and expiration date is showing (discard any that have expired).

4. Bundle the box tops in groups of 50 in plastic baggies then label the entire group together with your teacher’s name. Note: BONUS Box Tops must be bundled separately.

5. Bring your bundles to the Lower School Front Desk with a grand total clearly documented on top.
