F.A. REBATE PROGRAM FUNDING: Target Take Charge of Education

Current Target REDCard holders (Target Visa Card, Target Credit Card, or Target Check Card) should go to: www.target.com/tcoe to make sure that F.A. is designated as your reward recipient. Our School ID Number for this program is 771. Don't have a REDCard yet? The website tells you how to enroll (in store or with a downloadable application). FA will receive 1% of all purchases at Target or target.com and 1/2% of purchases made elsewhere with your Target Visa. Last year, we earned $1,724 from this program with only 37 cardholders. This is our most valuable rebate program, so let's maximize our earnings!

LOWER SCHOOL REBATE COORDINATOR

1. Copy and distribute Flyers to each classroom for the backpack system 4 times throughout the year. Flyers will be provided in Sept, Nov, Jan & March.

2. Complete the tally three times each year for the Box Tops Container outside of Mrs. Estes' Office (follow instructions 2-5 for Tally Parents below).

3. Keep rebate flyers and pamphlets stocked by Mrs. Estes' Office.

4. Mail laser/ink cartridges & cell phones to the Funding Factory. When the entryway container is full, empty it into the pre-addressed shipping box in the middle school mailroom (keep cartridges in their bubble wrap or wrap them with newspaper). When the shipping box is full, tape it closed & bring it to the lower school front desk for UPS pick-up. Replace the shipping box with a new one for the next collection, adding cardboard and tape to the bottom for reinforcement. Additional pre-addressed boxes & tape are next to the mailing box or in the PFA closet (please contact the Rebate Chair for a re-order when you use the last box).

5. Coordinate the "Box Tops" pizza parties with the homeroom parents of the three winning lower school classrooms (usually held during the Valentine's Day Party).

6. Coordinate the "Box Tops" lower school ice cream treat at the end of the year. Reimbursements for supplies are made by submitting your receipt to the PFA Treasurer. The PFA mailbox is in the middle school mailroom.

MIDDLE SCHOOL REBATE COORDINATOR

1. Complete three tallys for the MS Box Tops Collection Containers in the entry of the Middle School (follow instructions 2-5 for Tally Parents below).

2. Keep rebate flyers and pamphlets stocked in the Middle School entryway. When you see them, please bring completed forms to the "completed forms" box in the lower school (outside of Mrs. Estes' office).

3. Mail laser/ink cartridges & cell phones to the Funding Factory. When the entryway container is full, empty it into the pre-addressed shipping box in the middle school mailroom (keep cartridges in their bubble wrap or wrap them with newspaper). When the shipping box is full, tape it closed & bring it to the lower school front desk for UPS pick-up. UPPER SCHOOL REBATE COORDINATOR

2. Keep rebate flyers and pamphlets stocked in the entryway to the Upper School. When you see them, please bring completed forms to the "completed forms" box in the lower school (outside of Mrs. Estes' office).

3. Mail laser/ink cartridges & cell phones to the Funding Factory. When the entryway container is full, empty it into the pre-addressed shipping box in the middle school mailroom (keep cartridges in their bubble wrap or wrap them with newspaper). 6. As they are dropped off by parents, please bring large printer cartridges to the Funding Factory shipping box in the middle school mailroom.

LOWER SCHOOL BOX TOPS TALLY PARENTS

1. Make sure your classroom has a Box Tops collection box as close to the first week of school as possible (contact me if it does not have one already).
2. You will receive three emails (one in Nov, one in Dec and one in May) asking you to empty the collection box and count the box tops.
3. After each collection, trim all box tops along the dotted line so the logo and expiration date is showing (discard any that have expired).
4. Bundle the box tops in groups of 50 with string, rubber bands or plastic baggies then label the entire group together with your teacher’s name (in the fall). No classroom label is required in the spring since the goal is school-wide. Note: BONUS Box Tops must be bundled separately.
5. Bring your bundles to the Lower School Front Desk with a grand total clearly documented on top.
